OEG

Portland, Oregon

As OEG expanded, the electrical contractor relocated to a 32,000-square-foot building in Portland.

SUM designed a workplace that blends industrial character with comfort and functionality for a growing, multidisciplinary team. The layout preserves openness while maintaining structure and privacy, with natural light and views of Portland’s West Hills throughout.

Each department is anchored by collaborative spaces, complemented by multiple conference rooms across both floors. Exposed concrete, birch plywood, glass, steel, and felt acoustical treatments express an industrial aesthetic that prioritizes performance and comfort.

Completed in 2019, the new office reflects OEG’s grounded yet forward-focused identity.
