DKS Associates

Portland, Oregon

Designed to reflect DKS Associates’ values of equity, sustainability, and collaboration, the new Portland headquarters supports a hybrid work model with flexibility, comfort, and connection at its core.

SUM’s design balances transparency and privacy with a mix of hot desking, varied meeting spaces, and private phone rooms, accommodating different work styles and personalities. Natural light is maximized throughout, while “neighborhoods” of workstations are organized around shared collaboration zones.

The break room serves as a central hub, with zoned casework, a cozy seating nook, and a flexible “living room” area for meetings or casual work.

Warm wood finishes and layered sightlines create a cohesive, welcoming environment designed to last the duration of a long-term lease.
