Factor Building
Portland, Oregon
In Portland’s Central Eastside, SUM revitalized a deteriorating former manufacturing facility into a flexible, modern hub for makers, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses.
Located along the Willamette River with easy access by bike, transit, or foot, the retrofitted space offers the benefits of central proximity without the congestion of downtown. Updates include improved safety measures, well-lit secure entries, and onsite parking, along with seamless freeway access.
Designed to support the next generation of Portland’s creative economy, this adaptive reuse project helps local businesses thrive in a space built for both utility and community.
