Dark Horse Comics

Working once again with longtime client Dark Horse Comics, SUM was initially brought on to replace a set of storefront windows at the company’s Main Street building in Milwaukie.

During construction, serious structural issues were uncovered, the existing windows had been cut into the façade decades earlier and were never part of the original design.

Seventy years later, SUM developed a solution to repair the façade and properly integrate new windows that honor the building’s character.

Our restoration will ensure the historic structure remains strong, functional, and ready to serve the community for the next century.
